Free subscriptions to Go-Givers for 21/22 academic year

This is a challenging time for schools and teachers, as they prepare to help children to catch up on learning lost during the shut-down, and to make sense of the extraordinary period we’re all experiencing as a result of the pandemic.

Thanks to the generosity of Pears Foundation – a long-term, core supporter of Young Citizens – we are delighted to offer all UK primary schools free access to the Go-Givers resources throughout the 2021/22 academic year. This funding saves schools the usual subscription rate of £399, allowing every teacher nationwide to benefit from over a hundred assembly and lesson plans that address the Spiritual Moral Social Cultural development of our youngest citizens.

We are delighted to be assisting more schools to increase pupils understanding of what makes societies strong and to develop children’s confidence and values, while enabling them to play their part as active and informed community members.

Yvonne Richards, Director of Education and Programmes at Young Citizens, comments:

“Go-Givers is a bank of flexible, adaptable and age-appropriate resources to help teachers to explore the fundamental challenges facing primary-age children and society today. Our cross-curricular lessons, assembly plans and wider resources help children build character, nurture positive relationships, undertake social action, explore British values and learn about how our society works so they can play their full part in it.”

Sir Trevor Pears CMG, Executive Chair at Pears Foundation adds:

“We are very pleased to be increasing our family foundation’s support, and are confident that enabling access to these resources, along with the holistic educational approach taken by Young Citizens, will greatly assist teachers at this incredibly challenging time.”

We are extremely grateful to Pears Foundation for supporting Young Citizens for many years. To make the most of this one-off offer, sign up today.

Next steps:

All UK primary schools can sign up to Go-Givers (or if already a member, can renew their subscription when it is close to expiry) using the code PEARS21-22 at the online checkout. This will mean that your school will not be invoiced for their subscription during the academic year 2020 to 2021.

The account holder can then add unlimited colleagues to their school profile enabling them all to browse our extensive resources and integrate Go-Givers into their curriculum.
