DevonBus Enhanced Partnership

DevonBus Enhanced Partnership

What is an Enhanced Partnership?

An Enhanced Partnership is an agreement between a local authority and local bus operators to work together to improve local bus services. It includes a clear vision of the improvements that the partnership is aiming for and accompanying actions to achieve them. The local authority has formal responsibility to form the partnership. They can only proceed with proposals if they have the support and input of local bus operators.  In November 2022 Devon County Council formed the DevonBus Enhanced Partnership with our bus operators.

Please find a link to our Enhanced Partnership Plan and Scheme.  This was republished on 20th March 2024.

The DevonBus Enhanced Partnership Board is made up of senior officers from Devon County Council, the elected DCC Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Environment and Transport as well as representatives from our bus operators.  The Board meets quarterly, and details of how these meetings are held can be found in the EP Plan and Scheme document linked above.  Minutes of each meeting will be shared on this page when available.  The next meeting date is 24th May, 2024.
