Cheryl signs up to make stage debut despite having little acting experience – and she’ll be paid an eye-watering fee
CHERYL is pocketing one of the biggest fees in West End history for her stage debut – up to £750,000 for just four months’ work.
The Girls Aloud star, 39, has signed up to play Jenny in 2:22 A Ghost Story despite having little acting experience.
It is hoped she will boost ticket sales.
A source said: “The producers know this will get everyone talking, but it will ruffle feathers.
Most stage actors have trained their entire lives to get where they are, so seeing someone with little or no experience land a top billing can be a stab.”
Cheryl played herself in 2012 romcom What To Expect When You’re Expecting and had a small role as an agent in 2020’s Four Kids And It.
