I have been an educator since 1991. My first experience was at the university level, teaching Spanish and literature. However, I always loved working with elementary school students. Therefore, a few years later, I made the transition to elementary education and have never regretted it. I have taught grades K-4. I have also been a coach/coordinator, and school administrator. Teachers Pay Teachers has given me an extraordinary opportunity to share my resources, expertise, and experiences with other educators. It is truly an honor to share my resources with teachers from all over the world!

I believe that the goal and purpose of education is growth through the reconstruction of experiences to increase students’ problem-solving skills and their ability to fully participate in the society in which they live. I believe that the appropriate learning should occur through the experience of problem-solving projects, cooperative learning, activities, multicultural education, and community service projects among others. I create resources that are engaging and often integrate subject matters. When I include informational texts in the form of small books, I add activities to help students use their curiosity to think and solve real life problems.

I greatly enjoy creating resources for teachers at TpT. I am a third-generation educator. My mother was a teacher and my grandpa a school principal. My niece is a teacher and my sister retired from education a few years ago. My hobbies are: Reading, playing the piano, watching movies, going shopping, enjoying the outdoors, traveling.
