I have been teaching since 1992. I can't really say that I have a favorite grade because I've loved them all! I do have favorite subjects.... reading and social studies. Over the years, I have served as a mentor teacher, a team leader, and a spokesperson for our school (yes, I love to be on TV!!!). I have worked in 1-to-1 classrooms and those that only had a blackboard and chalk (remember those?). Every experience has been a blessing and a journey.
Very visual and definitely not a procrastinator- I like to plan things out and prepare. I think learning should be fun and memorable. I learn best when I am engaged. Don't read to me or lecture me- involve me! I love to move. Sitting still is not my thing! If I don't like to sit still then.... my students probably don't either!
My two most precious honors were the Inspirational Teacher of the year 2010 and the HOOT award Nov. 2013 because the students selected the Inspirational Teachers of the Year and a parent submitted an article to the newspaper about me for the HOOT award. Being chosen by students and parents was awesome.

I love people and pets. I Love to read and have many hobbies. I am thankful for each and every blessing from my heavenly Father. One of my best friends got me started in TpT. She liked my lessons and activities and urged me to put them down in writing (they are in my head) and put them in a store. At first it was difficult to transition from head to computer, but it is getting easier. I am thankful that Lynne had confidence in me and encouraged me.
