We are asking you to complete this survey and play your part in shaping future direction of sustainability within the events industry. In collaboration with Manchester Central, our ambition is to delve into this insight to help pave the way for the industry, showcase the strides we’ve already made and collectively understand what more there is still to do.

There is no doubt that sustainability is a concept the world must embrace, but it’s important to take it much wider than environmental matters. It’s about creating businesses with sustainable models which give back, help society improve, create sustainable jobs and so much more. In the context of the events industry, it’s about providing a platform for legacy.

Our sector is worth a whopping £84bn to the UK’s economy. As we kickstart another year, now is a pertinent time to reflect and dig deeper into what the events sector is doing well and what more can be done. It’s an opportunity for us to take a temperature check and measure our sustainable impact.
