World Book Day
We had an amazing fun packed World Book Day this week.
We celebrated “World Book Day: changing lives through a love of books and shared reading” with opportunities for our child to come dressed up as their favourite book character, and opportunities to take part in activities based around a selection of books.
At the Infant School children got to do some fun activities with a focus on drama which is supporting the work we are doing as part of our Voice 21 project where we focus on developing our speaking and listening skills.
At the Junior School children got to do some fun activities based around a selection of beautiful picture books, covering the themes of kindness, respect, accepting differences and courage.
