It is the best university in the UK for subjects allied to medicine and social policy and only five universities top a larger number of the Good University Guide's specialist subject tables.

Strathclyde wins Queen’s Anniversary Prize
We have been awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize, the highest national honour conferred on our sector. The award recognises institutions which show “quality and innovation” and deliver “real benefit to the wider world and public through education and training.”
