'Gutless woman': GB News host Dan Wootton unleashes on Meghan Markle over resurfaced letter to King Charles

Prince Harry could be kept as "far away as possible" during the King's coronation as Meghan Markle is feared to want to "cause maximum damage" from her home in California.

Meghan Markle wants to cause ‘maximum damage’ ahead of coronation

Meghan Markle still wants to bring down the royal family despite being absent at the King's coronation, says GB News host Dan Wootton.

Prince Harry will make the trip to London for the historic event on May 6, while Meghan will remain in California with the couple's two children Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie - whose fourth birthday is on the same day.

However, a letter the Duchess of Sussex wrote to the King years ago - outlining the racial biases in the royal family - has recently resurfaced with speculation the note's existence was linked to couple's coronation decision.

"Surprise, surprise... this has leaked out just two weeks before the coronation," Mr Wootton told Sky News Australia on Monday night.

“Even though Meghan doesn’t plan to attend, she wants to cause maximum damage to the royal family."

Mr Wootton said the "inexcusable" thing about Meghan is she made it very clear she thought the royal family were "racist", and she let the late Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth "go to their death bed knowing that the world thought there was an issue with racism within the royal family".

"This gutless woman has downgraded her criticism to unconscious bias and admitted that the person who she claims to be the royal racist actually wasn't racist at all," he said.

"I think there are many issues with this letter...she still wants to bring down the royal family...(but) she will be unsuccessful."

'Won't exchange a word': Prince Harry and brother William's relationship 'on its knees'

While Harry prepares for his solo trip to the UK, Mr Wootton claims there is a "real desire" within the royal family to keep the Duke of Sussex as “far away as possible” during the King's coronation.

“I’m told Prince William, in particular – he doesn’t want to utter a word to his traitorous brother,” he said.

"King Charles, he's the big softy. He wants there to be some family reconciliation.

"The other members of the royal family do not feel the same about Harry or Meghan."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle believe they can 'switch off' media 'circus'

Meghan's letter was allegedly sent in response to one she received from King Charles after the couple’s controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

In the Sussexes’ bombshell Oprah interview, Meghan claimed that an un-named senior royal had speculated about how “dark” Prince Archie’s skin would be.

Charles allegedly wrote to Meghan after the interview aired across the globe to express his sadness over the breakdown of communication in the family and concern about the possible racial biases.

Although the couple have declined to reveal which royal made the offensive remark, the Duchess has since clarified that it was not the late Queen or Prince Phillip.

A source close to the Duchess confirmed to Page Six on Saturday that: "Yes, there was correspondence, there were letters back and forth from the Duchess of Sussex to the King".

But an official spokesperson for Meghan told the same outlet the Duchess' decision to not attend the coronation had nothing to do with the letter.

"The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago,” the spokesperson said.

"Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous."
