HELP US INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENGINEERS

This year we are bringing the joy of engineering and STEM to Primary and Secondary schools across the UK but we need your help!

We are asking pupils in Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges from the ages of 3-19 "If you were an engineer, what would you do?".
This is part of our national Leaders Award competition and is COMPLETELY FREE to all Schools.

Simply fill out the form below and we will do the rest!

HELP US INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENGINEERS

Why are we doing this?
Well, we know that historically, many engineers were inspired by the people in their life who were already engineers. But what if children don’t have these role models? Young people cannot aspire to something they didn’t know existed.

This is why it is important we make engineering accessible to all, irrespective of their background. This helps address the gender and diversity imbalances in this important industry.

This is where we come in. The Leaders Award competition asks pupils from the ages of 3-19 “If you were an engineer, what would you do?”. Pupils get the chance to interview engineers and ask the questions that matter to them, then come up with their own engineering ideas and take part in our national competition.

Every pupil who takes part receives a graded certificate from an engineer, and is invited to the Awards & Public Exhibitions hosted all over the country. Our University partners even pick a design from each region to turn into a working prototype!
