Worst Foot Forward

Hallo you marvellous lover of podcasts, untapped history and heroic failure!  Thanks for coming to our Patreon page.   For the past couple of years we (stand-up comic <a href="http://benvandervelde.com/">Ben Van der Velde</a> and writer/actor <a href="https://twitter.com/bazmcstay">Barry McStay</a>) have been releasing podcasts all about the worst things in the world, featuring guests as diverse as professors of neuroscience, wrestling promoters, sommeliers, bakers, doctors, magicians, politicians and burlesque dancers!  We do our very best to mine the history books for undiscovered stories of full of comedy, tragedy, pathos and pure daftness, as well as asking some very talented people about what they think their greatest weaknesses are. Like everyone in the podcast world, we put our heart, soul and time into researching, recording and editing the pod and would love you to get involved.  We're eager to keep recording, as well as doing exclusive special episodes about some of our favourite discoveries which drill deeper into their stories.  Most of all, we really want to turn all of our research into a cracking book.   We'd love you to help us out and donate just a couple of quid a month to us so we can keep celebrating history's glorious losers and enjoy a slice of scadenfreude pie!

If you pop us a tenner we'll invite you around (in real life or on Skype), ask you what you're worst at in the world and let you judge an episode - you get to pick which suggestion is that week's winner.  Plus we'll also let you pick a show topic, give you access to extra content and pop you in the acknowledgements section of our book. 

Dreadful

We're getting into dreamland now, but if you love our show this much then it's only right you should get your own full episode.  Pop us $20/month and some essential (but none fraud-triggering) details about your life and we'll use them to create your own personally curated private episode. Wanna make it a gift for a friend or loved one? All the better. 
On top of that, you'll still get to pick a topic for a show and be a guest judge for it, plus we'll pop you in the acknowledgements section of our book.

Appaling

You want to pop us a fat amount each month?  Then we'll come to you and record a live show in your goddamn house!  (Within the UK only...)  
 
Don't worry, we'll bring the biscuits, tea and a super-exclusive guest to debate a topic of your choice.  We'll also interview you about what you're worst at as part of the show and also allow you to judge which suggestion should be the winner.  
On top of that, if you've listened to a previous episode and thought "they've made a glaring omission" then let us know what it is and we'll make an exclusive episode based entirely around your suggestion.
