Supporting care experienced students in English higher education: towards a more consistent approach
The Office for Students commissioned the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) to undertake a short feasibility study on the potential development of a more consistent offer for care experienced students.
The study focuses on the support offered by higher education providers in England across the areas of:
- Admissions and academic requirements
- Information, advice and guidance
- Pastoral support
- Financial support.
