Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge is a fun way to get your children excited about books and reading for pleasure. It will be running in Norfolk Libraries from 8 July to 16 September and is aimed at primary aged children, although there is a mini challenge available for under 5s too. Visit Summer Reading Challenge to find out more.

Bounce and rhyme

Bounce and rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers are back in every Norfolk library. These are free drop-in sessions with no need to book and you are welcome to stay and chat after. You can bring drinks and snacks for yourself and your child - some libraries have tea and coffee on offer too.

Bounce and rhyme online

If you can't make it the library check out the Norfolk Libraries Families Facebook page which has a large range of recorded sessions for you to watch at home.

Story Explorers

Story Explorers is our reading club for children aged 0-5. Follow your child's reading journey on a poster and collect stickers along the way. You'll also get emails with tips, book recommendations and information about activities at the library. You can sign up when you join the library, or ask about Story Explorers at your local library.

Lego Clubs

Our Lego Club sessions get your children enjoying creative problem solving and having fun with other children. Most groups are suitable for children 5+, but some libraries have Duplo or welcome younger children so check with your local library.
