Job Description

Post Title:    Trainee AHP Support Practitioner
Location
:      Inverness
Hours:          37.5 hours per week 
Duration:      Fixed Term - 18 Months
Salary:          £21,215 p.a. 

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:  The successful applicant will work directly with children, young people,  families and others to support children and young people with a range of developmental differences and disorders. They will provide non-complex assessment and interventions on behalf of a Dietitian/ Occupational Therapist/ Speech and Language Therapist/ Physiotherapist . They will learn to manage a designated caseload of children/ young people within predetermined guidelines. They will contribute to developing aids and activities for therapy, and supporting the work of the team as required. Most work will be in clinics, schools, early years centres and/ or the base for the post.  Consideration would be given to applicants from any part of Highland.
