To improve port safety and reduce fender system maintenance at the Lianyungang Xinxu #LPG Terminal, the port officials decided to upgrade the existing fender systems with a new robust, engineered solution. As a part of the refurbishment, our team led by 杨 Yang海平 Nero and Spero Luo designed and installed a parallel motion fender system with solid super cone fenders while keeping specific project requirements in mind, such as low reaction forces, maintenance schedules, risk, and increased fender durability.  Trelleborg is pleased to be a part of the terminal's major transformation and upgrade at the Lianyungang Xinxu LPG Terminal in China. #MarineFenders #ParallelMotionFender #MarineIndustry

Why double super cones used, is it because of space limitation or better shock absorption?
