Generative AI in Ship Design and Beyond? ⚓ 🚢 🛳 🌍 After receiving numerous requests, I've decided to begin work on releasing the web version of my ShipHullGAN model. The model is trained with over 54,000 designs, it's capable of generating a parametric version of any given hull. Below is the link to the light version of the partially trained model, which may take some time to load and may display some designs that look a bit odd. https://lnkd.in/gswSGRfE Additionally, I'm currently working on integrating it with LLMs for a command-based design version but don't have much time to devote to this. It was a pleasure to present BAR Technologies at the final conference of GRAPES Network which took place at the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Many thanks to the organisers and special thanks to the president of Athena Research Center, Ioannis Emiris, for coordinating an outstanding Marie Curie Action. Very much looking forward to our collaboration and involvement in Archimedes - AI and Data Science Research Hub.

This is yet another example of how researchers are misusing new tools. Remarkably, the very first line of the paper appears to be copied directly from a generative tool. This raises significant concerns about the credibility of the findings presented in this work. What is equally concerning is that this went unnoticed by the reviewers, editors, and even the proofing team at Elsevier. paper's link: https://lnkd.in/ejp2kfa6
