Earlier this year we wrapped up the pilot of our first Money Movers Employer Programme with Deloitte. We had 80 Deloitte staff take part in our 3-session peer-to-peer learning programme all about how to take climate action with your personal finances. This video features just some of the team who took part: Flis O'Toole Prahlad Rajhans Priyanka Revankar Elinda Staikopoulou Genevieve Taylor Tiffany De Koninck. Collectively, this Money Movers Employer programme shifted over £1.29 million for the planet, and every employee who took part felt more able to align their finances with their values as a result of the programme. Deloitte's involvement also supported a further 100 women to take part in our Community Programmes! Empowering individuals is a key pillar of Deloitte's World Climate Strategy, and we loved collaborating with them to bring financial climate action to life in such a practical and connecting way both within their organisation, and with a wider community. With Deloitte's latest Sustainable Consumer survey just out (link in comments), we can see that whilst 64% of us are reducing our single-use plastics, only 12% of us are greening our finances - showing us how important Money Movers is to help people take climate action that matters. A huge thank you to Priyanka Khurana & Elinda Staikopoulou for their behind-the-scenes work to bring this programme to life within Deloitte, Lucy Traynor for initiating and championing this since the start, and Claire Burton for backing this as part of Deloitte's Responsible Business programme.

It's impressive how much of an impact greening your personal finances can have on the planet. It was a pleasure to be a part of this joint programme with Money Movers and Deloitte to make actionable sustainable difference! I can only say it was an eye opener!
