Our actions are threatening the extinction of one million species. The One Planet Summit for Biodiversity organized a dialogue between stakeholders to coordinate our actions. Boris Johnson, Justin Trudeau, Erna Solberg, Christine Lagarde and I held a round-table discussion to understand how governments and companies can work together to reverse the tide on biodiversity loss. Industry has a role to play to bring innovations and solutions. We can engage and support our suppliers and customers to act alongside us and join coalitions and alliances with like-minded corporations. We can measure our impact on the environment around us and commit to reduce it. And we can design solutions to address the challenge using digital innovation. Technology is the cornerstone for efficiency, for smart use of resources, for circularity – all of which can mitigate our impact on the world’s flora and fauna. At Schneider Electric, our journey has begun. In 2020, we conducted and published the first end-to-end footprint assessment using CDC Biodiversité’s new “Global Biodiversity Score”, and committed to achieving net-zero biodiversity loss in our direct operations by 2030. #LifeIsOn United Nations Global Compact #Biodiversity #Sustainability

Congratulations to Schneider Electric and Jean-Pascal Tricoire for its attitude towards environmental issues, very good to see a company of this size worrying about our planet
I am not surprised to see Schneider supporting this, and thank goodness! The planet needs big business to help us all to take necessary and incremental steps supported through innovation. This OnePlanet Summit and the #princeofwales #Terracarta comes at a crucial time. Good luck!
Excellent! Schneider not only does its best to be sustainable but the most important of all: is extends the way to all other companies, governments and even us employees on how to avoid biodiversity loss. Reflection of a great leadership as well! Well done
