A sneak peek of a major project 👀 Freyssinet, in consortium with Prime Metro BMD Corporation has been awarded the repair of the wharf of Manila International Container Port. ⚓ As the leader of the consortium, Freyssinet is in charge of all #structural #repairs which are mainly #shotcrete activities. We also have to protect the structure through #cathodicprotection and application of silane. It is a very challenging project as all tasks must be performed under the full operations of the port, plus, our teams have to constantly adapt their schedules depending on the tide conditions as the concrete structure has been built at a low level. [PROJECT] 🔥 Exciting news from Freyssinet Middle East! 👀 Did you know that elevated RC tanks were infamous back in the 20th century? 👉 Discover the success of our latest project—a challenging restoration of a 43-year-old elevated RC tank. Severe defects were observed, including ring beams, periphery walls, access shafts, etc, hence a requirement for structural review and immediate action were risen. 🚧 Our work? We developed a comprehensive methodology, ensuring the safety and longevity of this essential infrastructure. The structure was restored to its original condition and capacity through a one-month design process followed by a two months of meticulous on-site works: ✔ 3D modeling of water tower ✔ detailed construction stage analysis ✔ development of a customized, in-house steel support structure for temporary use ✔ successful execution of works with extreme safety precautions 👏 This achievement speaks volumes about the talent and commitment of our Freyssinet team members! #repair #sustainabletechnology
