I use my experience as a wildlife ecologist to help everyone discover nature in their city and improve our wellbeing!

What I've done in the past:

I am an ecologist and biodiversity expert. The last 12 years I have been working with wildlife and people, in different organizations and in my own business.

With "Biodiversidade e +", in Portugal, we strive to deliver added-value for businesses and territories by promoting their biodiversity and natural values:
- Improve the ecological management of urban and rural areas;
- Developing courses, workshops and activities, and ecological education classes for children;
- Advisory and communication services to everyone interested in developing nature and wildlife tourism.

Previously, I have executed, coordinated and managed nature conservation projects, which have contributed to the protection of endangered species and their habitats.

Furthermore I have proven experience in:
- Biodiversity conservation actions (urban and rural areas);
- Habitat and species management (urban and rural areas);
- Project execution and management (both technical and administrative);
- Planning and execution of biodiversity-related fieldwork;
- Engaging and communicating with children and non-technical audiences;
- Engaging with local stakeholders;
- Data analysis and reporting;
- Writing project proposals;
- Supervising students' internships;
- Organizing group fieldwork (eg. students) and visits.

I currently live in Eindhoven (The Netherlands).
