Our team are moving into the installation of the sprinkler system for Quayside, a luxury development for CField Construction. All services must fit around the fire strategy, which comprises of 3 key elements - the fire ducting, fire alarms and sprinklers. In a sprinkler system, the sprinkler head is accurately designed to quench every inch of the apartment in water should the system be set off. Once the sprinkler location is set, all other services are designed around the system. Grilles, alarms and downlights are designed to allow for clearance between neighbouring services and to create a reflected ceiling plan to avoid ceiling acne (ceiling fittings dotted all over). Our designs are installed and commissioned by our specialist partner and #FIRAS-certified installer to ensure the highest level of quality control and assurance needed to achieve the required level of fire performance in practice. #buildingmanagement #facilitiesmanagement #newbuild #developer
