🌍 Our #H2020PROSPECT+ mentor, Alicia Villazán Cabero, recently shared her expertise in city-to-city learning about tackling climate change in a webinar in collaboration with UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme), Vital Cities and Citizens, Closer Cities, and JUSTRA Cities Network, exploring how cities are sharing knowledge and experiences. 🌿 Drawing from the experience of Valladolid, Alicia showcased practical examples from the PROSPECT+ and URBAN GreenUP projects, highlighting the power of collaboration. 🤝 With nearly 70 participants from diverse EU and non-EU countries, city representatives engaged in lively discussions on the conditions and outcomes of city-to-city learning. 📽️ Watch Alicia's talk here: https://lnkd.in/gBwjQNQG IHS, Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam

We are back with HUGE news! . . . #H2020PROSPECT+ has received a record number of applications from municipalities, regions, and energy agencies across Europe in our final open call on innovative financing! 🎉 🎉 🎉 We received 98 applications for our capacity-building programme emphasizing peer learning exchange among both experienced and less experienced public authorities in city/region financing. What's next? The selected candidates will be matched with experienced mentors, and groups will be formed, to learn and exchange best practices covering innovative financing schemes for energy and climate projects.
