Artificial Intelligence based Virtual Control Room for the Arctic
About us
AI-ARC is an EU H2020 funded research innovation action tackling maritime border safety and security challenges within the Arctic and Hight North. At AI-ARC we are working on developing SMART, user centric designs, which leverage state of the art technologies, and deliver multi-faceted positive global impacts. Our main objective is to create an innovative, robust, efficient, and user-friendly artificial intelligence (AI) based prototype platform for coast and border guards, which allows traditional and VR-based interfaces to adapt to users’ preferences in terms of information management, anomaly detection, risk analyses and interoperability; in order to realize a comprehensive surveillance system that delivers powerful situational awareness for decision making, and safety for all maritime actors without increasing the command centres' workload. The project is 30 months in duration and received funding from @EU_H2020 Research and Innovation Programme (GA No. 101021271)

The AI-ARC Project's Final Stakeholder Event took place in Brussels earlier today, where the final project results where presented successfully and the audience could try out the Virtual Control Room with VR goggles. The feedback received during the event proved that Stakeholders were as impressed with the project results as we are. 🤩
