Kitchen
Pastry Chef
If you are a passionate, skilled Pastry Chef who is happy to specialise in cakes and pastries, then we have a fantastic opportunity as a Full-time Pastry Chef at 4 * Kingsmills Hotel, Inverness.

Chef De Partie (4 days on, 3 days off)
We have an exciting position available for an experienced Chef De Partie to join the team. If you are looking for a career in a established Kitchen or to join an elite Brigade then please apply.
Our main Kitchen is a fast paced environment serving breakfast, lunches and dinners. We also can accommodate up to 300 for events such as weddings and private dinners. To serve our Events we have a seperate Banqueting kitchen on the ground floor.

Food & Beverage
Evening F&B Supervisor (full-time)
Your duties will vary each day which makes working at the Kingsmills Hotel a fun place to be!

Bar Associates (full-time & part-time)

Restaurant Associates (full time & part time)

Conference & Events
Conference & Events Operations Assistant (part-time)
We are recruiting an Conference and Banqueting Attendant to join our Banqueting Department to assist with the smooth operation of Events. We cater for weddings, private dinners, charity events, conferences and much more.
The job –
– Assisting with the day to day running of all forthcoming events and functions as per function sheets.
– Setting up of function rooms in accordance with function sheets and breaking down rooms and resetting.
– Extremely hands on role
– Assisting with the stocktake of all crockery and cutlery and ordering replacement stock as per monthly budget
– Ensure that excellent quality service is delivered to all guests
– Identify, implement, and monitor all standards within the department such as health & hygiene rules.
– Serving Tea/Coffee to our clients, lunch and evening meals in our Banqueting Department.
– You will be required to work around our Events schedules at peak times which includes evening and weekends.
Essential Skills –
– Previous experience in banqueting/events/food & Beverage in a quality establishment
– Strong communication skills
– Positive approach and self motivated.
– Attention to detail
Rate of Pay – £10.90 per hour
Night Banqueting Assistant
We are currently looking for a permanent Night Banqueting Assistant to work in our Banqueting Suite through the night. Hours will be working through the night 11pm-7am (approximately)
Here is a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
This role would be
- Clearing down the Event Suite through the night after a Party-Night/Function then setting up following the Event Sheet for the business on the following day.
- This is a physical job moving heavy tables.
- We are looking for someone who can work independently and use their initiative through the night.
- You will be working against a time limit in order to set-up the Event Rooms for the following day. Ideally looking for someone who has previous experience of set-ups or worked in a Food & Beverage Background.
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you’re passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Kingsmills Group .
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you’re well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way.

Housekeeping
Housekeeping Supervisor (full-time)
We are currently seeking a driven, highly motivated and supremely organised Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure the highest standards and meticulous attention to detail are achieved throughout the Hotel, a key member of our Housekeeping team.
The Housekeeping team is a vital, dynamic and an incredibly hard-working team, with a common goal to ensure we aim to exceed customer expectations at all times. Driving high cleaning standards and working efficiently together as part of One Team.
Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- You’ll assist, support and supervise your own mighty team of Room Attendants
- Attending and participating in daily meetings for preparation, you’ll have a key role in the set up and service of the Kingsmills, maintaining and continually improving our standards and the quality of our service, consistently exceeding our guest expectation.
- Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally
- You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky-high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas
- Playing a key role in ensuring the motivation of our team, you’ll work with them, involved in their buddying up, training and development

Room Attendant (21 hours)
As a Room Attendant you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our Guests every day. Your responsibilities will include: Servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standards set out by our Executive Head Housekeeper and Head Housekeeper hoover bedrooms and clean bathroom floors removing all debris restock amenities water, biscuits, tea/coffee Dust and polish all hard surfaces including high dusting Complying fully with all regulations relating to Health Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH Report any room defects or any faulty equipment.
This is a permanent role where full training can be provided so experience not essential. With regards to working hours we can be flexible. We have full time hours and part-time hours available. We are looking for team players but you must be able to work on your own initiative too once fully trained.

Hotel Management
Duty Manager
We are currently seeking a experienced, passionate, talented Duty Manager to join our Experienced Team.
We are looking for someone who can work four days from seven which includes weekends working a mixture of shifts but predominately in the evenings. 12noon until 11pm . You will work 11.5 hour shifts for four days then have three days off. Alternatively if this is unsuitable then we have the option of traditional hours 5 days from 7 working 3pm-11pm.
Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- A Duty Manager works closely with Guests to greet, converse, and assist with enquiries, especially when our VIP Guests, long-stay Guests, and others are in the hotel reception.
- Responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards.
- Occupy the hotel reception and other public areas, particularly at busy times
- Engage Guests in conversation and provide general assistance Manage, record, and resolve promptly all Guest complaints.
- Meet and greet VIP Guests and major corporate clients upon arrival.
- You will be operating your shift and ensuring all areas are sufficiently covered with the appropriate staffing levels.
- Working predominately in our F&B Departments such as the Bar and Restaurant.
- Stay current with all hotel products, services, policies and emergency procedures Handle, record and follow through with management issues or emergencies that arise.
- Conduct any Health and Safety procedures, if required, including fire walks etc.
- When working on a late shift you will be the Host in our Lounge/ Bar Area and supporting functions when running.

Swimming Instructor (part-time)
NEEDS LEVEL 1 SWIM INSTRUCTOR
We have an NEW opportunity available for a Level 1 Swimming Instructor. You will be required for 1 to 1 swim lesson instruction in our Leisure Club.
About the role
Your primary role will be to teach people of all ages and abilities to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water. Your main duties will be to plan and deliver lessons ensuring adherence to the scheme of work and lesson plans. Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance, in line with the Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim Program.

24 Hour Hospitality
Night Porter/ Night Auditor (full-time)
Don’t miss this exciting new opportunity to join Kingsmills Hotel team as a Full-time Night Porter/Night Auditor
We are looking for someone with the personality and passion to deliver excellent hospitality that will ensure our guests feel safe in the Hotel during the night.
Working five nights from seven approximate hours 11pm-7.15am.
Duties include cleaning and hoovering public areas, serving drinks to any late residents in the lounge bar, assisting with the set-up of meeting rooms for early morning starts. Checking in late arrivals to the Hotel and checking out early departures, answering telephone and often taking messages. Completing several security checks of the building throughout the night and being aware of night shift procedures.
We are looking for someone with a clean driving license in order to take staff home at night and collect in the morning. 2 of these nights you will be covering Night Audit so computer competency is essential. Previous experience desirable however training will be provided.
