Story

BDP are taking part in the 2022 Dragon Boat Race for Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital- taking place on the city's historic canals, our team will join multiple races in a bid to take home the Dragon Boat Race trophy, whilst raising money for this incredible Trust.

BDP have a long history of working with the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital. After working on many of their facilities, we have been able to see first hand the difference that the Trust makes in the lives of women and children all over the UK.

The Trust receives more than 641,000 visits from patients each year with a 6,000 strong team to provide first class care and treatments year round. The charity conducted pioneering research into potential treatments for children with Coronavirus symptoms and PIMS-TS throughout the pandemic, alongside delivering a fantastic patient experience with the support of various charitable trusts, private donors, and donations from the public.

Your donations enable the Trust to fund research into new ideas and treatments, create comfortable environments, raise money for state-of-the-art equipment, and so much more.

From the entire BDP team, thankyou for supporting this fantastic cause- and wish us luck!

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
