We provide specialist care and support to life-threatened children & their family

Story

Raza is a lawyer based in London. In December 2023, he will set off on a challenging expedition involving high-altitude trekking and climbing for more than 80 miles to Everest base camp. Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth and is located in the Himalayas. Raza is raising funds to support terminally ill children at East Anglia's Children’s Hospices.

Raza’s journey will include travelling across multiple glaciers in freezing conditions and climbing Kala Pattar at an altitude of 5,644 metres above sea level.

Raza will be travelling up to 14 hours per day in temperatures as low as -20°C.

Raza is working with East Anglia's Children’s Hospices to support children and young people with life-threatening conditions.

All donations on this platform are linked directly to the official East Anglia's Children’s Hospices charity and will be used for some of the following purposes:

1. Providing care and support to terminally ill children from hospices located in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

2. Supporting terminally ill children and their families by providing clinical nurse specialists, counsellors, play specialists, music therapists, art therapists and physiotherapists.

3. Helping families make special memories with the use of hydrotherapy, music and play activities.

4. Providing bereavement support to families.

Thank you for your support.
