About a War explores violence and social change through the testimonies of ex-fighters from the Lebanese Civil War.

Moving through the testimonies of Ahed, a Palestinian refugee and member of the PFLP; Assaad, a right wing ex-intelligence officer of the Lebanese Forces and Nassim, a Communist fighter, About a War unpicks the personal and social motivations, trauma and regret of militiamen who picked up arms to fight during the Lebanese Civil War.
