Autumn online workshop series: LaTeX for scientific reports

This autumn, we are delivering an online two-part series for apprentices, undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates in partnership with SEPnet (including its graduate network GRADnet). LaTeX is general-purpose tools that form an increasingly important part of a physicist's skillset.

Skills workshop two-part series

The series will take place live online over two days delivered by experienced early-career physicist, Dr James Kneller.

Saturday 19 November 11:00 - 12:30 BST
LaTeX for scientific reports 1: Getting started with new documents
Introduction workshop

LaTeX is a useful writing tool which is ideal to write scientific reports. It makes writing easier by taking care of design, referencing, maths etc, allowing you to focus on the content. This two part workshop will walk you through getting started with your first document. The first session is getting to grips with the basics, making the code less scary. The second focuses on setting you up on writing a scientific report of your own!
