Details
This is the third annual report on the Prosperity Fund. It demonstrates how UK government departments are working together to deliver inclusive economic growth through the Prosperity Fund. The report shows how the Fund is helping to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlights programmes already delivering results. Three additional sections have also been included to detail ongoing work:
- unlocking economic opportunities in Colombia, supporting post conflict and conflict-affected regions: a case study on the Fund’s most advanced programme
- programming in support of action on Climate Change (SDG 13)
- the Fund’s approach to gender equality and women’s empowerment (SDG 5)
The Prosperity Fund spends both Official Development Assistance (ODA) and non-ODA funding, and spent £126 million in the 2018 to 2019 financial year, of which £116 million was ODA.
