Details

If you plan to import live animals or germinal products into England, Scotland and Wales you must notify the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) at least 24 hours before they are due to arrive.

You can notify APHA about animal and animal by-products using an IV66 notification form.

It’s quicker and simpler to use the Import of products, animals, food and feed system (IPAFFS) service.

If you plan to import to Northern Ireland, you must contact the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA).
