Son of Chaos by Lexi C Foss - Amazement! I love the worlds that Eve and Xai love in. Okay, I don’t actually love Hell, but I love the way it’s written so visibly that I feel like I’m right there with the characters. Great read and can’t wait to read more about Eve and Xai.

It's always a steal to receive so many awesome reads in a single book and for such an amazing price. If you are a fantasy and/or paranormal fan, you'll find much to love about this collection. While I haven't had a chance to read all of the stories in the anthology, Devil's Claim by Dariel Raye and Muffy Wilson, set the bar high. This is an engaging and character-driven story that begins with an interesting hook at the beginning of the story. It then reels the reader along until you reach a very satisfying conclusion. David and Katala make for a cute couple, no matter the lifetime (read to find out what I mean). There are also plenty of nice secondary characters to love, especially Michelle, my fav. Now, off to read more stories from this anthology. :)

My review is in regards to Lexi C. Foss’s book Son of Chaos which is featured in this boxset.
As much as I adore the Immortals, the Mershanos and the Blood Alliance gang, I think my heart actually lies with Xai and Eve.
I just love the whole Angels & Demons aspect. I love that both are very different but both corrupt in equal measure. I mean Xai & Eve are fighting for good essentially but they don’t care. It’s hard to explain without giving away spoilers. Just trust me when I say that being VERY bad is a VERY good thing.
I love how this author can world build. Every chapter, every scene I was transported from the mundane of everyday life to that of a world in which my tiny mind couldn’t comprehend, imagine or believe. You get sucked in. Lost into the void. (Thanks David Tennant - The BEST Doctor)
I cannot wait for more of this story. Xai and Eve are just badass!

Are you looking for some adventurously wicked romance stories? Then you will definitely want to pick up the Wings of the Wicked box set. Where else can you read some great stories from some of your favorite authors, and also be introduced to some new talented authors to add to your 1-click list. One of my faves from the set is The Soul Collectors by LaVerne Thompson. Nathaniel and Angelique's story is not your traditional romance as a matter of fact some may think it's not a romance at all, but what can't be denied is the passion that exist between them. I don't want to give away the joy of reading the story but let's just say that even the wicked ones have the capacity to love if given the opportunity to meet the one for that's exclusively for them. I loved Angelique and Nathaniel's devilishly sweet story as well as the other wickedly hot reads in this box set and I think you will too.

There is absolutely something for everyone in this collection, and it is such an amazing price! The worlds are immersive, the characters are lovable. I laughed, cried and alternated between hugging and wanting to throw my kindle! Grab it today!!!

Guarding Reese is a story by R.S. McCoy, in the Wings of the Wicked anthology. In it we meet Cass, a guardian angel who has had to spend nine years away from his charge. Reese has worked his way through five other guardians, but no one seems to work. Cass is given the chance to work with Reese again, and he follows his heart to the one who has held it since the first moment they met.
This book is a paradox - it is both steamy and sexy, whilst also fading to black. The passion between Reese and Cass is full-on, and full of emotion. I was hoping for that ending, but I wasn't sure I would get it. R.S. McCoy managed to keep me on tenterhooks throughout.
This is an excellent story, being well written, and with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading. The pacing is smooth, and the characters well rounded. I would love to know if this is part of a series, as I would love for Vin and Alexander to have their stories too!
If you like reading about hot and sexy angels, or ripped musicians who know what they want, then I can definitely recommend this book.

This review is for CHASING FATE by J.R. Thorn... if/when I read more I'll update.
This was my first J.R. Thorn book but certainly won’t be my last. Aside from my need all I can get of this world, there’s the fact that there is so much going on.
Urban Fantasy is pretty awesome if done right, and this is done right—there are vampires, angels, demons, witches, succubi and more but it’s pretty plausible. Throw in a badass protagonists, loads of action, heat, drama and some real feels and… is there anything this book doesn’t have?
This one’s also served to win me over to RH, as this instance is an example of all the genre can be. Past attempts for me (other authors) revealed no plot, just orgies, basically. If you’re looking for an RH with substance, and real connections, look no further than J.R. Thorn. There was even a fun little twist before it ended; I’d definitely like to see more from this author and read on in this world.
Cover: Beautiful and perfectly relevant.
Formatting: Clean.
Editing/Proofing: Pretty clean proofing-wise and good continuity, decent character development. Well done.

Well, a lot of stories is putting it mildly because there are 25 different stories in this anthology, so even if you find you don't prefer some, there are plenty of others to choose from. I also enjoyed getting to read new author's and seeing some of my favorites. The story Death's Angel was one of the stories that I hope to read more of in the future. Adie is incredible, with so much fire and the snark just flies off the pages. My only complaint is that there needs to be more, so hopefully the authors will have second one out soon. However, if you aren't sure what you're in the mood for, the anthology is the way to go! So many stories, with different twists and characters.

Very enjoyable read! I love anthologies...when I don’t have a lot of time to read, they help feed my obsession! So buy the book and dive in for some amazing stories! Like Death’s Angel by K.B. Every & Amara Kent!
Death’s Angel was a standout for me that left me needing more! Poor Amy is tortured for powers to emerge, powers that we are only given a brief glimpse. I’m not sure how I fell about Adie, however, I can tell you I hope she kicks the crap out of Mike and Urie!

Fantastic paranormal anthology of stories featuring 25 authors. I've really enjoyed the ones I've read so far, including Betty Schreffler and Maddie Wade and at a bargain early release price, I recommend it!

Son of Chaos by Lexi C Foss
I love it when a new story by Lexi C Foss is released, I know I'm going to get depth, detail, a world I can get lost in, passion, angst and twists I don't see coming, all wrapped in a wonderfully written package. This book is just all that, I was glued to the pages, I loved it!
Son of Chaos is the continuation of the Dark Provence world and I was very excited to have more of Dark Angel Xai and his soulmate Evangeline (Eve) the Daughter of Death, two strong, dominant characters who fit and fight together perfectly!
The balance of power between heaven and hell is shifting, with earth stuck in between. A war is brewing and Xai and Eve are smack bang in the middle of it.
I loved Xai in Daughter of Death, book one in this series, but here he has grabbed a piece of my heart. When his love Eve is taken, he shows just how far he will go to protect his mate, not even the deepest, darkest depths of hell will stop him.
Xai is fast becoming one of my favourite characters across this authors worlds. He's strong, stubborn, possessive, annoyingly cryptic at times, but he is very sexy. I love his dark side, intelligence, absolute loyalty and the caring side he shows very few. He is discovering new depths to his powers too in the this fight between angels and demons, good vs evil, but just who is on which side? The main players are making their moves and choosing their allies, things are not always as they seem and I can't wait to find out more. Some of those demons are very intriguing!

Amazing collection of short stories that will leave you wanting more!! Loved the story by K.B. Everly and Amara Kent Death's Angel. There are a few others that I would also love to see more of in a series if the authors chose to write more to give us addicts! This series is full of sinfully delicious world's where sometimes the villains are your favorite characters. I may have came out with a few new favorite authors myself.
