This week we interviewed for the new GM Alliance project Officer. We  had a fantastic set of candidates and hopefully our new team member will be starting very soon. 

At this month's GM=EqAl working group meeting we will be providing feedback on a few chapters of the GM Primary Care Blueprint draft. The group will be providing insight into lived experience of the health inequalities that could be addressed within the GM Primary Care Blueprint. We are progressing our work on ensuring the voice of lived experience is heard in policy making, Nat from GMCVO's Policy and Research team will be talking to GM=EqAl members and other stakeholders over the coming weeks. 

The Gender Based Violence Lived Experience Reference Group is now open for applications.

They are a partnership of Olive Pathway, SAWN and SafeLives committed to working with survivors to improve lives for survivors

The Population Health Data Group is a subgroup of the Greater Manchester VCSE Population Health Group. The Population Health Subgroup reports to the Greater Manchester VCSE Leadership Group which is a signatory to the tripartite VCSE Accord (with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board).

Greater Manchester’s VRU is developing Greater Manchester’s first Violence Reduction Strategy to set out their ambitions to reduce violence in Greater Manchester and to ensure they have clarity over the priorities to achieve this.

Study Request from Charlotte Harding, she has started recruiting for her study which aims to explore lesbian and gay adults' experiences of completing dialectical behavioural therapy. Participants will receive a £25 e-voucher for participating in a one-hour interview to share their experiences.

The research project Understanding Experiences of Dementia explores experiences of living with dementia, including how people manage daily routines, what help and support they get (or seek), interests, activities and social groups they attend.

They are looking for participants aged 55 or over who have capacity to decide for themselves whether or not they wish to take part in the research.
