Collaboration Platform

To involve the value chain in the discussions around PFAS, we have set up a Collaboration Platform which convenes on a monthly basis.

It enables downstream users to connect with manufacturers, importers and other users to gain insights into the varied applications and uses of PFAS. If you or your organization would like to join the Collaboration Platform, please get in contact with us.

The first meeting of the Collaboration Platform took place on 31 August 2021. It is currently made up of over 90 members, the majority of which are downstream users. This includes representatives from Mobility-Transport-Automotive, Construction, Aerospace and defence, Electronics, Health, Life Science, Retail, Textile, Energy Intensive Industries, Agri-food, Energy renewables and Digital sectors.

The aim is to ensure the value chain is regularly informed on the ongoing EU policy developments, to gain an understanding of the impact a restriction would have on respective applications and businesses, and to collect case studies highlighting the benefits PFAS bring to society.

Should they be open to it, we would gladly invite authorities to some of our meetings so that our downstream users can explain the potential impact of the upcoming restriction, whilst answering any remaining question. This would form an invaluable addition to all the information that has been given during the two consultation rounds for the wide PFAS restriction.
