Ruth Löbner

Ruth Löbner (b. 1976) studied linguistics and German literature in Düsseldorf. She works as a translator and writer. Her children's books were translated into various languages, including Dutch, Danish, Hungarian, Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean.

Her most recent translations into German include the first two volumes of poems by prizewinning Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, and Oxygen Debt (Zuurstofschuld) by Toine Heijmans, winner of the Boekhandelsprijs 2022.
