Per Holmer

Per Holmer (b. 1951) writes his own books and translates into Swedish from Danish, German, English and particularly Dutch. He has translated around 110 books from Dutch, including works by Willem Elsschot, Maurice Gilliams and Gerrit Kouwenaar. Holmer has also translated much of Hugo Claus’s oeuvre, including The Sorrow of Belgium and The East Acre Poems. Another of his translations is ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’.
