Natalia Karpenko
Natalia Karpenko’s first translation, the short story ‘Bloemen’, by Hugo Claus, was published in 2003 in a Ukrainian journal of translated literature. Since then, she has translated work in various genres: primarily Dutch and Flemish novels and short stories, but also children’s books, poetry and nonfiction. Her most important translations are:

- ‘An Interrupted Life: The Diaries and Letters of Etty Hillesum
- A selection of children’s stories from ‘De mooiste Nederlandse sagen en legenden’
- ‘Het schrijverke’ by Guido Gezelle
