Queer in Tech

Join us once again for Queer in Tech, proudly supported by Infinity Works, part of Accenture, and Auto Trader. Following the fantastic success of our first event, we're excited to bring together queer individuals and allies in the tech industry for a second round of connecting, learning, and growth.

Our aim is to continue fostering a space for exchanging ideas on overcoming inequalities and barriers in the tech world, as well as highlighting the positive aspects of your workplace. We aspire to create a personal and intimate atmosphere where Queer in Tech attendees can engage in open and honest discussions to improve our collective experiences.

We have another impressive line-up of inspiring speakers who will share their unique experiences and perspectives as queer individuals in the tech world, offering valuable insights and inspiration. Talks will last 10 minutes each, with a short break in between.

Speakers:

• Alys Davies (she/her) - Seeing You and Being You: The Importance of Representation and Allyship
• Agnes Beviz (they/them) - Coding outside the lines: Navigating my career switch to software engineering as a non-binary person
• Beth Tappenden (she/her) - Allyship from Within the Community: Supporting our Trans Siblings
