About this event

The Prime Minister has been clear that the UK will leave the EU on 31 October.

We have already revised the guidance for businesses published on gov.uk to provide further clarity for businesses. To follow on from this, we would like to invite you to this event hosted by BEIS where we will provide an update on no deal preparations.

There will then be the opportunity to ask questions concerning ‘New Approach’ goods regulation in the event of no deal and how your business should be preparing.

Topics likely to be covered include CE and UKCA Marking, Notified Bodies, conformity assessment, importer duties and declarations of conformity. The event will be hosted via Webex. To book your place, please click here. Further instructions on how to join the Webex (including dial-in details) will be circulated two to three days prior to the event.

There are currently two dates available with limited places on each. This event is for 29 August 2019. The event on 30 August 2019 can be found here. However, we will be organising further events in September.

If you are not able to make this event but have questions related to the above, please contact us at goodsregulation@beis.gov.uk
