About this event

The adoption of the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) in December 2018 created an important opportunity for international cooperation on migration issues. One key ingredient for achieving better planning and collaboration on migration is trustworthy evidence and information on which to base migration research, decision-making, and service provision. Within this framework, UN Member States called for (through the Capacity-Building Mechanism in the GCM) the creation of a global Connection Hub and Knowledge Platform - the “Migration Network Hub” - that will serve as a repository of existing evidence, practices and initiatives related to migration, facilitating the accessibility of knowledge and peer-to-peer learning and sharing of solutions.

After the soft launch of the Migration Network Hub on 16 December 2020 as part of the UN Network on Migration Annual meeting, we would now like to receive your feedback for further improvements on the Hub. The pilot testing event will be an opportunity for us to give you a virtual tour of the Migration Network Hub and collect feedback on how it can be improved before the public launch later in 2021.

Please register here on Eventbrite to attend the pilot testing virtually.

If you joined the soft launch, feel free to leave your feedback on the platform here.
