About this event

Please join us for our annual Northern Ireland MS Research Public Information Evening. This event is free to attend and is open to any person with MS, their families, friends and carers.

This year we are delighted to have our guest speaker Dr Will Brown. Dr Brown is a Consultant Neurologist in Cambridge, and is actively involved in MS clinical trials and advancing MS patient registries. We will also have talks from local MS researchers at Queen's University Belfast, who will provide updates on exciting research projects being undertaken in Northern Ireland. We will also be joined by our MS research nurse who will talk about clinical trials currently being undertaken in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.

Is this event free?

Yes. This event is free to attend.

Is there car parking on site?

Yes, there is a free car park located at the main entrance of the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. There is a barrier to enter the car park. The barrier should be left up for the evening, however please press the buzzer if the barrier is down.

Will there be food at this event?

Yes there will be a selection of sandwiches, biscuits, tea and coffee. Please enter any dietary requirements on this registration page.

Is this venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes this event will be held in the atrium of the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine, which is wheelchair accessible.

Will the event be streamed online?

We would like to encourage in-person attendance as much as possible. However if you are not able to attend in person and would like to attend virtually, we can send a Microsoft Teams link via email. Please note, this event will not be recorded.
