About this event

Delivered by the Business Development Managers from the Research and Enterprise Service, this session will focus on contract research and innovation projects, which can be secured through a variety of funding bodies, including charitable trusts.

The workshop will cover:

  • How the Business Development Team can offer strategic service and support to academic colleagues, to assist you in gaining funding for your specialist area of expertise.
  • How we can support you with securing industries partners, that are often key to consortia bids.
  • How and where we source funding from and how we can offer critical guidance throughout the process, ensuring compliance with the tender requirements, internal approval and a timely submission.

This workshop is designed for academic and research staff in any discipline, to supply them with further information and clarity on how the Research and Enterprise Team/ Business Development Managers can support and drive a bid or tender process alongside an academic team.
