Leadership can be tricky enough and then along comes conflict!
Join this interactive Jump IN session where Enda Young, a Programme Director at the William J Clinton Leadership Institute in the School of Management, will explore the latest thinking in conflict resolution.
Participants will gain:
• An introduction to key theories and concepts of conflict resolution
• An insight into the neuroscience of conflict resolution
• An understanding of the causes of conflict and alternative dispute resolution techniques
• An overview of negotiation and mediation processes
• Practical and useful conflict resolution skills and strategies
This session is targeted at Queen's students volunteering in leadership positions (e.g. academic reps, student council, peer mentors, club/society committee members) but is open to all Queen's staff and students.
