About this event

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) will be holding two, one-day stakeholder events covering Brexit and its impact on the chemicals regimes in a no-deal scenario.

The day will include:

• sessions led by HSE and DEFRA on the Plant Protection Products (PPP) regime;

• and sessions led by HSE on the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) regime;

The event will include very similar messaging to previous events but will reflect the current state of play.

To allow as many organisations as possible to attend we kindly ask that you send a maximum of two representatives to each event. Please indicate in the space provided below if you would be interested in sending more than two representatives. In the event that there are places still available, we will do our best to accommodate these requests.

On the day:

Registration will be from 09:30am. The event will begin at 10:30am and will finish at 16:00pm. An agenda and final details will be sent to all attendees prior to the event.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary or other special requirements by emailing eu-exitchemicals@hse.gov.uk

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

By Car

The Principal Station is situated in the centre of York just off the A1036.

By Train

The Principal Hotel is adjacent to York Station.

Parking

There is parking for up to 90 cars, which is offered on a first come, first served basis. This is charged at £15 per 24 hours or £3 per hour up to a maximum of £15.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, you will not be permitted into the event without a ticket.
