Do you have a passion for making a difference to your local community or the world in general? Do you want to develop your employability and enterprise skills through working virtually with others in multidisciplinary teams?

The Hack of Change is a two day virtual event where students from all of the Universities in Wales come together to develop ideas to support local issues. Participants will learn the basics of setting up a social enterprise, including idea generation, market-testing and how to create impact for local communities.

Mae Cyd-greu Newid yn ddigwyddiad rhithwir dau ddiwrnod, lle bydd myfyrwyr o’r Prifysgolion yng Nghymru yn dod at eu gilydd i ddatblygu syniadau i ddatrys materion cymdeithasol.Bydd cyfranogwyr yn dysgu hanfodion sefydlu menter cymdeithasol, gan gynnwys cynhyrchu syniadau, profi’r farchnad a sut i gael effaith ar gymunedau lleol.

There will be opportunities to network with and learn from a variety of mentors and experts with experience of setting up their own social enterprises. No experience of business or social enterprise is required, just a passion for making a difference. The best solutions from the event will be invited and supported to apply for funding to make things happen.

Bydd cyfleoedd i rwydweithio a dysgu oddi wrth amrywiaeth o fentoriaid ac arbenigwyr sydd â phrofiad o sefydlu eu mentrau cymdeithasol eu hunain. Does dim angen bod ag unrhyw brofiad o fusnes neu fenter gymdeithasol, dim ond awydd angerddol i wneud gwahaniaeth. We will share personal data with the Enterprise Champion at the college or University that you are attending. The Zoom meeting will be recorded and shared within secure virtual learning environments at participating colleges and universities.
