About this event

Join our expert panel to explore heat pump retrofit solutions for blocks of flats and answer your questions.

This free webinar, aimed exclusively at London boroughs and housing associations, will look at how heat pump technology can be deployed in flats and how a range of innovative technologies can help overcome common challenges.

The panel will look at real project examples from across London and hear from both social landlords and technology providers on the challenges and opportunities for heat pump retrofit. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session to put questions to the expert panel.

The Retrofit Accelerator for homes aims to transform the way London retrofits its ageing and energy-inefficient housing to create warm, affordable and ultra-low carbon homes. It is part of the Mayor’s Energy for Londoners programme and provides London boroughs and housing associations with the technical expertise they need to kick-start ‘whole-house’ retrofit projects across the capital.

Our expert panel:

  • Claire Jamieson, Greater London Authority
  • Sarah Butler, Royal London Borough of Greenwich
  • Laura Bishop, Ground Source Heat Pump Association
  • Gabriel Gallagher, Sustainable Energy
  • Mark Hewitt, ICAX Ltd
  • Ieman Barmkai, Kensa Heat Pumps
  • Peter Spurway, Vaillant UK
