About this event

This two hour course will raise awareness of the issue of county lines, quickly becoming one of the most prevalent forms of modern slavery in the UK and affecting many people across the country. It will take place on 21st April 7-9pm via zoom and include a range of teaching, group discussion and the use of online resources.

The course will focus on the key facts of the issue, how it affects young people and how we might respond within our communities. It is aimed at those who want to find out more about county lines and how it is taking place in their communities.

Organised by

We believe that the tools to end modern slavery already exist within the local community and that the Church has a primary responsibility in leading these efforts. The Clewer Initative enables Church of England dioceses and wider church networks to develop strategies for detecting modern slavery in their communities and help provide victim support and care.
