With the restoration of Collective Worship ... we will have limited seating available at Mass. Although restoring public Mass … “It is important to reaffirm that, at present, the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains suspended.”

As per governnment guidelines ... you should not attend Mass if you or someone within your household / support bubble has any of the following:

- a high temperature

- a new, continuous cough

- a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste

Utilising the "1 metre with risk mitigation” social distancing government directive ... we will require that all who attend Mass must :

- Not congregate outside the church before or after Mass in a non-socially distanced way.

- Sanitise hands on entering church using the provided alcohol-based sanitiser.

- Follow directions of the stewards on when and how to enter and exit church.

- Sit where directed and remain in their seats unless directed otherwise ( ie. No visiting statues and lighting votives. )

- Only sit or stand and not kneel to ensure 1m distancing between benches.

- Wear your own face masks / coverings for the duration of being inside the church. ( As of 08/Aug/2020 this is now a legal requirement. )

- Follow directions on when and how to queue for Holy Communion.

- Receive Holy Communion on the hand at arms length and non verbally ( ie. without saying "Amen" ).

The ticket you are requesting is for one ticket per household / support bubble with up to 5 people including children.

Further to the NHS Test and Trace guidelines ... we are required to collect the name / phone number / email address of the lead person in each household / support bubble ... and the names of each person within that household / support bubble attending Mass. This information will be kept by the parish and will only be provided to NHS Test and Trace if requested to do so.

At this point … we will not be able to accommodate wheelchairs / prams / pushchairs etc. at Mass ... and there will be no access to toilet facilities / tea & coffee after Mass.

Mass books will not be available … but you are welcome to bring your own book … or use your own device to review the Mass readings at -> https://universalis.com/europe.england.arundel/mass.htm

Applying for a ticket does not guarantee a seat at Mass.

Your seats will be confirmed on the Friday before the Sunday Mass requested.
