BEIS: Business Growth and Support Roundtable Discussion

Officials from the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy are keen to hear from North East SME owners and other business decision makers on a range of issues related to their ongoing success and growth. They would like to hear views on themes including the cost of doing business (e.g. complying with regulations), how entrepreneurs access the information and advice they need, and whether existing support mechanisms available to them, such as funding streams, are effective.

This event will provide a chance for BEIS to hear business insight on their priorities during and after we leave the EU. Whilst officials from across government will be sharing information on operational areas that are expected to change when the UK leaves the EU, the preparations that they need to make for this and the actions that businesses can take in these areas (e.g. importing, exporting & transporting; employing EU citizens).
