Lecture co-organised by the Migration Working Group and the Digital Public Sphere Working Group. During the lecture, the relevant legal instruments applicable to the Schengen internal and external borders will be presented to reflect on the main challenges encountered. Furthermore, an in-depth perspective will be given on the recent proposals made by the EU in the field of border management, such as the proposal for a regulation on screening and the proposal to amend the Schengen Borders Code.
