Inborn Errors Working Party Annual Conference

-

General Information

Dear Colleagues,

This year, the annual meeting of the Inborn Errors Working Party (IEWP) will be organized in Milan, Italy, from the 24th to the 26th of September 2021. It will be a great pleasure to welcome you all in person on behalf of EBMT.

The first part of the meeting will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of San Raffaele TIGET. An overview of new perspectives in gene therapy and gene editing will be presented.  We have then prepared an exciting program with expert speakers in the field of inherited metabolic diseases, who will give us an update on the latest advances in stem cell therapy in these conditions.

On Saturday and Sunday, the program will consist of dedicated sessions on various topics related to stem cell transplantation and gene therapy in inborn errors of immunity, hemoglobinopathies, and new indications.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Milan.

Alessandro Aiuti and Maria-Ester Bernardo, Local Organizers
Michael Albert, Secretary of IEWP
Bénédicte Neven, Chair of IEWP
